is offered as a bachelor course for students who completed their Intermediate,
admissions being through entrance examination like the existing EAMCET in Andhra
Pradesh. it is a 4 112 years course plus and extra year for practical
internship. This course gives a
would be doctor, exposure to subjects like pharmacology, anatomy, pathology,
biochemistry, surgery and other specialities.
Medicine can be differentiated into various branches based on the kind of
treatment. Allopathy, Homeopathy,
Ayurveda, Unani are some of them. Masters
and super specilization clan be persued by doctors successfully completing the
bachelors degree. Some of the
famous institutions in India are AIIMS, New Delhi, AFMC, Pune, JIPMER -
Pondicherry, CMC - Vellore, BHU - Banaras etc., Hyderabad has two colleges viz.,
Gandhi and Osmania Medical Colleges, which offer allopathy form of medicine.
Government run institutions in Hyderabad also offer Homeopathy, Ayurveda,
Unani and Dental courses.

of job for a doctor. Doctors with
super specilization can work as specilaists in self run dispensaries or
consultants at private/Govt. Hospitals.
