Blue, what a fascinating colour it is. At once it has the brightness of a clear sky, the enigma of midnight and calmness of sea. Get deeper into the colour, more captivating and intriguing it gets. Probably the contrast it has to offer is what is most appealing about blue. However, the one blue that people across the world have been hugging to is the racy denim blue.
And why prey are we talking about hue blue, because this winter the fashion ramps are going to be lit up with its shades. Ditto from the house of denim gurus, Levis Strauss. Levis in their latest fall winter collection bind heritage with innovation. You guessed it right and the one thing that binds fabric, design and style is the color blue.
The classic fits make a come back with new finishes, fabrications and style, according to
Mr. Vivek Raju, consumer marketing manager, Levi's India. Raju was in Hyderabad recently to oversee the launch of this new range of denims. Seven lines are being launched in the Deep Blue range.
The brightest thing in this range is the Cross Hath Denim fabric in the super loose jeans.
Raju said that this imported European lightweight fabric was unique to the Indian market.
So why is it being launched in Hyderabad? "Hyderabad is the most happening place. But somehow the fashion makes its entry a bit late here. The launch of new Levi's products is to plug that gap."
Aren’t HYDerabadi girls supposed to be a conservative for you to launch here? Raju disagreed and observed that "HYDerabadi girls are more interesting when it comes to clothing. They are more conservative but very adaptable to the latest fashion”.
And what is in store for women? The Levis embroidered jeans. But it is already there in the market! There is a difference though, we have replaceable borders, "Now look different each time with the same denim" Raju was quick to add.
