“Maa Aavida Meeda Vottu Mee Aavida Chhala Manchidi”.
As a director, EVV Satyanarayana always had a unique style of his own in deciding the titles of his films. Remember his “Chevilo Puvvu, Aa Okkati Adakku, Jambalakadi Pamba …etc.? Even after turning a producer, he hasn’t lost his taste for the titles with an offbeat flavor. After his first venture “Chaala Baavundi” (though the title has no semblance of relation to the film), he comes out with his second outing: “Maa Aavida Meeda Vottu Mee Aavida Chhala Manchidi”.
The film, with Srikanth, Naveen, Laya and Raasi in the lead roles, has completed its first schedule from 9th to 13th October. Five songs were recorded in Chennai between 13th and 16th. “ We’re going to Mauritius to shoot a couple of songs and a few important scenes”, said EVV when we met him.
Talking about the title of the film he elaborated, “ this is a very unique story and we thought the title should be equally unique. We chose the title after rejecting 25 other titles. The film will talk about the concept of love between a wife and husband being greater than love before marriage. Apart from Srikanth, Naveen, Laya and Raasi, who have heavy roles, we have a good comedy track and many important characters in the film.”
“Chirunavvuto…”
After his sensational hit “Swayamvaram”, which was his first film, hero Venu is treading cautiously for his second venture. Understandable, because he has a reputation to protect now. The whole industry is pretty curious about “Chirunavvuto…” coming out under the banner of S.P. Entertainments with Ramprasad as director. At the time when small-budget films are giving big returns, it is interesting to see how well will be the second outing of a hero who has proved himself once.
“Chirunavvuto…” has Prema and Shaheen in female leads opposite Venu. Though Another love story, the film upholds the virtue of responsibility over love. For director Ramprasad, this is the first film and he’s all eager to use the opportunity fully and put in a lot of homework and effort.
Ready to hit the movie houses in November, the film has Manisarma as the music director and Venkata Shyam Prasad is the Producer.

Similar plans are on for two original films in Telugu under the directorships of Boyina Subba Rao and Sadasiva Rao, though the cast is not yet decided. “ Director Manjunath came up with an interesting story and we’re keen to launch another film with him”, he said.
Rama Naidu has plans of making films simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and all this, despite the pressures and demands of being an MP. But knowing him, we can be sure that he will do justice to all the jobs.
