'Chirutapuli' 2nd Schedule

Saikumar is pairing up with Bombay lass Deepti Bhatnagar for 'Chirutapuli', which has already finished its first schedule. While Saikumar plays a committed police officer on Terrorists hunt. Another important role is donned by Suman. The first schedule consisted of some interesting scenes between these two. The second schedule is due from the 11th of November. Being made under VJ Productions this movie has Vallabhaneni Janardhan Providing story and screenplay.

'Jayam Manadera' cuts platinum

After its successful opening all over Andhra, there's another feather in the cap for 'Jayam Manadera'. The film's music, scored by Vandemataram Srinivas, created a record of sorts and cut a platinum disc in a very short span of time. The function was held in Vishwanath theatre in Kukatpally amount live audience. Hero Venkatesh, Producer Suresh, Director Shankar, Paruchuri Brothers and a lot of others attended the function.

'Uncle' in Araku

'Uncle', played and produced by AVS, has Tarun and Pallavi in lead roles and recently one song was piturised on them in Araku. After the hit 'Nuvve Kavali', all eyes are on Tarun. AVS says, "It's an entertainment oriented story. You can expect a rip-roaring comedy. We have fifteen-minute touching sentimental scene though". Main roles are played by Tarun, Pallavi, AVS, Bhramhanandam, Narra, Raghunatha Reddy, Achyut and Uttej. Dialogues - Totapalli Madhu; Music - Vandemataram Srinivas; Camera - MV Raghu; Story and Production - AVS; Director - Rajasekhar.

'Ammayi Kosam' - A call for youth

Eetaram films has always used the medium of films with a social objective. inspired by poet Sri Sri's lines, 'Kontamandi Kurravallu Munduyugam Dootalu', they are making a film. with four youngsters who realise their responsibilities and change themselves. These four who want to do anything for a girl (Title), become socially responsible, all thanks to the very girl they are after. "It's going to talk about social problems and is going to be in a commercial format" says, Producer Poturi Babu Rao. Meena, Ravi Teja, Vineet, Ali, Siva Reddy, play the lead roles while Mupallaneni Siva directs them. The shooting started on the first of November in Hyderabad. 

Sai Kumar, Praksh Raj, MS Narayana, LB Sriram, Narra, Alapati Lakshmi play other important roles. Dialogues - Maruduri Raja; Music - Vandemataram Srinivas; Camera - CH Ramana Raju.

Sivaji, Manya in a new film

A lot of producers are showing interest in making films with upcoming heroes. The latest one is the new production house Lakshmi Films. They have started a film on the 29th of October with Sivaji and Manya as the leading pair. Ravi Chavali of 'College' fame is the Director. The opening shot was taken on the Hero and Heroine. The clap was given by K. Raghavendra Rao, while KV Narasimha Reddy switched the camera on. Sana Yadireddy played the Honorary Director for the first shot. 

"Its going to be a different film. The love story is entwined with patriotism and we have touched on the problems of poverty and unemployment. We plan to complete the filming 30 days," Informs Ravi Chavali.

"I play the role of a person who acts more than he speaks", says Sivaji. Manya adds "My character is very patriotic and very different."

Nujtaab Ali Khan, Arun, Duvvani Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, YVS Rao, Vinay Verma play other roles. Camera - Vijay C Kumar; Music - Shashi Pritam; Art - Babji; Producer - KV Narasimha Reddy.

Ushakiran's new film

Exactly 10years ago he made his debut with Usha Kiran Movies 'People's Encounter'. Now, a decade later Srikanth gets an opportunity to play the hero in a film made by them. In what is going to be the 50th film of theirs, Ushakiran has picked Mutyala Subbaiah as the director and Raasi and Maalavika play the female leads. The shooting began last week in the production house's same office in Begumpet. 

The first shot was taken on Srikanth, Bramhanandam and AVS. K. Raghavendra Rao gave the clap while SV Krishna Reddy switched on the camera. The regular Shooting starts in November. 

The title is yet to be decided for the Film. Anand, Prithvi, Velu, Bharani, MS Narayana, Kallu Chidambaram, Mahesh play the other roles. Story - Ghatikachalam; Music - S A Rajkumar; Producer - Ramoji Rao; Direction - Muthyala Subbaiah.

'Ganesh' turns hero

Comedian Ganesh turns a hero with 'Please... Aunty'. Jayalalitha plays Aunty in the film. The producer and Director ask us not to jump to conclusions based on the title and assure that it's not a vulgar film. Let's see if Ganesh can be as successful as Ali.

'Picnic' starts shooting

Sri Venkata Krishna films is making film with 'snake' as the storyline. With suspense and horror as the mainline. The film started shooting in a private bunglow in Jubilee hills. Hero Suman was the Chief Guest. He gave the clap too. 

With enough computer graphics to prop up the story, the cast inclues Yada Krishna, Ramakrishna Goud, Rajesh, Ramya, Rajani, Jr. Balakrishna, Jr. Venkatesh, Geetu Arora, Satya, Anu, Vaishnavi. The shooting takes place between the 3rd and 15th in Srisailam. Director for the movie is Ch. Venkat and Producer, N. Ramesh Kumar.
