Balakrishna's Bhalevadivi Baasu on June 1

After the super duper success of Narasimhanaidu, all eyes are on Balakrishna’s next film Bhalevadivi Baasu. The filmmakers have announced that the film will be released on June 1. 

The audio has been released on May 6 at Tirupati in the presence of the Lord of Seven Hills. Producer Anitakrishna said that all the post-production work is being carried out at a hectic pace so that the film can hit the screen on June 1. 'We want to achieve a hattrick with hero Balakrishna who has earlier done Aditya 369 and Vamsanikokkadu with us. Which is why we are taking all the care and precautions,' she said.

The film is being directed by Tammudu fame P A Arun Prasad.
Cast: Balakrishna, Shilpa Shetty, Anjala Jhaveri, Prakash Raj, Sudhakar, Bhupinder Singh, Brahmanandam, M Balaiah, Sivajiraja, Satya Prakash, Mallikarjuna Rao, Gowtam Raju, Kallu Chidambaram. 



Chiranjeevi's Manjunatha by Month End


The multilingual film Sri Manjunatha which stars Chiranjeevi as Lord Siva, Meena as his consort Parvati, and Arjun as his diehard devotee Manjunatha has completed its shooting recently. Soundarya is playing Arjun’s wife in this film. 

The film which is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada is being directed by K Raghavendra Rao. With Raghavendra Rao’s historical film Annamayya doing exceptionally well, everyone is looking forward enthusiastically towards this film. Two songs are presently being shot on Chiranjeevi and Meena and a host of dancers at a period set erected at Annapoorna Studios.

Talking to the press, Chiranjeevi said that the sentiments between god and devotee are being dealt in a devotional manner. The story which is J K Bharavi’s brainchild has been moulded as a visual wonder by K Raghavendra Rao. 'Somewhere in the back of my mind there is lurking dissatifaction that I wasn’t able to do mythological films like the late NTR. Playing this role I am able to satisfy myself. I’ve got a good chance to play the role of Lord Siva.'

Talking about Arjun’s role he said, 'I thought a number of times that it would have been good if I was give Arjun’s character.'

In Manjunatha Chiranjeevi is playing different roles like that of a 100 year-old man, a saint, etc. Though this is a devotional film, there are a lot of elements that would entice the masses. 


Ninnu Choodalani to release this weekend

Another member of N T Rama Rao’s family is entering the Telugu film industry. Named after N T Rama Rao himself, this junior NT Rama Rao is being introduced by the prestigious Usha Kiron Movies banner in the film titled Ninnu Choodalani. 

Production executive A V Rao said that NT Rama Rao will become a craze after this film and he will become a very busy hero. The film has been shot in some beautiful locations.

'The audio cassettes have already been released and S A Rajkumar’s melody-based music is setting the hearts of the youth afire. Only after two days into the market, there have been repeat orders,' said the production executive A V Rao. 

With all the post-production work over the film is ready for release on May 25.

Tarun and Richa's Chirujallu

The Nuvve Kaavali hit pair Tarun and Richa are teaming up again in SSC Arts production titled Chirujallu. Sriram Balaji is being introduced as the director for this film produced by
GVG Raju. 

Talking to the press, director Balaji said that he has been working on this story for two years. When the topic was narrated to actress Roja Ramani, she liked the subject. Ditto Tarun. 'This is a sensitive love story involving two tender hearts.' 


SP Balsubrahmanyam, who is playing the role of the heroine’s father, said that the film is funny and different. 'I am doing a role that I haven’t done till now.'

Suresh starts Raghava

Suresh who has done extremely well in recent time with the success of Bhavani and whose next venture Sivudu is ready for release has announced another film Raghava, that went into the floors recently. The film which has Rajsri doing the heroine’s role is being produced by L B Reddy and directed by Y Nageswara Rao. 

For the muhurat shot the director N Shankar gave the clap and producer Praveen Reddy cranked the camera. Later talking to the press Y Nageswara Rao said the film is a love story that happens in the backdrop of Rayalaseema faction politics. Though the hero gets involved in faction politics, the film is basically an entertainer. What the hero does to gain the love of his life is the crux of the film. 

'Raghava has all the elements that go to make a successful film: Love, action, sentiment and entertainment,' said Nageswara Rao. The talkie part will be over with 30 days of shooting. And the songs will be picturised after that. 

Hero Suresh said that his role is about one who grows up in an atmosphere of faction politics which he hates it to the core. And he tries to get himself out of it once he falls in love.
'What should he go for? Factionism? Or Love? How the hero successfully wins the game of love is what Raghava is all about.'

'Raghava will be the best among all my films. Whether my films do well or not, I am happy that I have done good films. The film is being made with a huge budget.

Rajendra Prasad acts with Chiranjeevi

Actor Rajendra Prasad is donning a role with Chiranjeevi in the latter’s home production. 'We do some films for money, some for name, some for fame, some for friends, and some because we really like them. I am doing Chiranjeevi’s film under the Geeta Arts banner because I truly like it.' 

'Chiranjeevi and I are very good friends. I have acted with him in Hitler as his brother-in-law. In this film I am doing a role which is five times better and a more challenging one,' he said.

Continuing in the same vein, he said, 'I am a fan of the film’s director Suresh Krishna. I have become his fan after watching his film with Rajnikant Basha.'

Rajendra Prasad is donning a comedy role with touches of sentiment in this film.
