Appa Rao Nela Tappadu
Progress at a brisk pace

Based on a real life incident in United States of America where a guy
becomes pregnant and is in the seventh month, Appa Rao Oka Nela Tappadu
is a hilarious comedy. “when we announced the title, people were
wondering what kind of title it was. |
But when they came to read about the US incident they appreciated us,” said the producer EVV Mallikarjuna
Prasad.
In the shooting that took place between February 15 and 21 certain key
scenes were picturised. Later some scenes were shot in Ramoji Film City
between February 26 and March 3. Presently, a song is being picturised on
the hero Rajendra Prasad and two more duets will also be completed. The
shooting part of the film will be over by the end of March.
In the film Rajendra Prasad is a sales representative. He falls in love
with a girl on one of his rounds to sell his products generally to middle
class people, said Prasad, adding that the film progresses with dollops
of comedy. “The film doesn’t have even an iota of sentiments or weeping
scenes. The seemantam song will become the highlight of the film.”

Tamasha songs screened for press persons
Tamasha starring Satish, Ravinder, Anil Raj, Siddhartha and Manya is
sceheduled for release in the third week of March. On the eve of the
release, the songs of the film were screened for presspersons at Prasad
Labs.
The lyric “Tamasha tamasha enki papaki Clinton Babu sight kodite
tamasha” was written by R D S Prakash and was sung by
Gangadhar. The film was picturised on four guys in Ramoji Film City.
The second song “Nachchinaave mechchinaave maaloni mohaalanni lepi
naave” writted by Ghantadi Krishna was picturised at Madhapur roads, in the
hillocks again on the four heroes. |

The third lyric “Kiss pedata vastaavaa andaala bhaama” written by RDS
Prakash was shot on Manya, Master Nagacharan and some kids at
Ramanaidu Studio, Sanjeevaiah Park, Indira Park and Lumbini Park.
The fourth lyric “Edukondala Vaada Venkataramana Govindaa” was written
was Ghantadi Krishna. This film was shot on four heroes in Ramoji Film
City.
In another song audio bits from popular songs have been used to picturise
on the hero. Prem Gopi was the dance director.
Later talking to the press, one of the producers Sivanagu said, “Comedy
is the focus of the film. Four guys hailing from the middleclass try to
make money and thinking that Manya has loads of money, they try to hook
her.” He added that L B Sriram’s character will be the highlight of the
film.
Director Sunder said that they have taken a serious subject and presented
it in a comic manner but at the same time taking care not to dilute the
message. “Although it is my first film, thanks to the producers’
cooperation I was able to finish the film as planned.” The film will run
for a minimum of fifty days, surmised Sunder.
Second schedule of Jackpot begins
The second schedule of Jackpot directed by ace Kannada director Kasinath
has begun on February 26. Produced by P N Ramachandra Rao, the film is a
comedy. There is a beautiful message which are fused with realistic
elements. “Ever since I saw Anubhavam I have become Kasinath’s fan. Every
time I go to Bangalore I meet him. On one such occasion he narrated the
story to me. I liked it so much that I am making the film under his
direction with him as the hero.”

The first schedule went on from January 27 to February 10 at Ramoji Film
City. Forty percent of the talkie and one song have been picturised in
this schedule. With the present schedule that is presently being shot at
Ramoji Film City, the shooting part of the film will be over. |

Prema Donga to release soon
Prema Donga, the Soundarya, Vinod Kumar, Srihari starrer directed by A
Mohan Gandhi is likekly to be released in the intervening period between
the third week of March and first week of April. The audio has been
released on February 26 through Akash Audio.
The film which has Koti scoring the music has D Prasad Babu as the
cameraman. It is produced by G V Subba Rao and Nagamalla Sankar and
directed by A Mohan Gandhi.
Ramana launched by Sivanageshwar Rao
Sivanageswara Rao who is famous for his films like Money is making a film
called Ramana with new faces Rajendra Babu and Mahi. The film which is
produced by Nimmagadda Koteswara Rao was launched recently at Prasad
Labs. Akkineni Nagarjuna gave the clap for the muhurat shot picturised on
the lead cast while Koteswara Rao switched on the camera.
Later talking to the press director Sivanageswara Rao said that it is the
story of a boy who proves his father wrong that he is a good for nothing
fellow. “The hero will be a representative of the youth.”
Sivanageswara Rao said that a whole load of new talent is being
introduced through the film. Rajendra Prasad and Mahi as the hero and
heroine, Pratap Singh as the villain, Maharshi as the director,
Ravikolikapudi as the dialogue writer, Vijaya Kumar and Satyam as the
lyricists.
The film will complete its talkie part from February 28 to April 4 and
later the picturisation of the songs will be taken up.

Preminchu schedule till March 9 in Hyderabad
The Suresh Productions’ film Preminchu starring Sai Kiran, Laya and Roopa
will continue its shooting till March 9 at Hyderabad, according to the
producer Dr D Rama Naidu. The film is being directed by Boyina Subba
Rao.
| Startin from March 3, the film will be shot for four days in Anup House.
A birthday song will be shot here and all the lead cast would participate
in it. Scenes related to Kota Srinivasa Rao will be shot at Prameela
House. |

The Court scenes will be done at Nanakramguda Studios, and some
vital scenes will be shot at Rock College Hall. The film will be also be
shot at Ramanaidy Studios, Ravindra Bharati.
Earlier the film was shot at Huda Park in Jubilee Hills and in the
adjoining hills. In the next schedule starting from March 11-20 the unit
will go abroad to shoot the songs.
