Khushi achieves tripple platinum disc

The Pavan Kalyan-Bhumika entertainer Kushi, has gone in for a triple platinum disc recently. The celebrations to coincide with the triple platinum disc were organized by Adiyta Music at Sandhya 70 mm on Sunday. 


Those who attended the celebrations include Pavan Kalyan, Bhoomika, Ali, director S J Suryah, Pavan Kalyan’s father K Venkat Rao, his brother Nagendra Babu and the cinematographer P C Sriram. 

Some of the interesting portions in the film were screened and alongside Pavan Kalyan gave away the platinum discs to the audio dealers of the districts Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Vizag, East and West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Ongole, Nellore, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam, Kurnool, Anantapur, Cuddapah, Hyderabad. 

On the occasion Pavan Kalyan thanked the audience and sought the continued support of the people and his fans. 

Bava Nachadu by month end

The Nagarjuna-Simran starrer Bava Nachchadu directed by K S Ravi Kumar is scheduled for release by the month end, according to the producer M Arjuna Raju. 

Arjuna Raju said that presently, the rerecording work is going on and with the completion of the remaining part of the work, the film will be released by the end of the month. The audio of the film containing seven songs has been released on the seventh of this month. 

According to Arjuna Raju, 'The film is a family-based entertainer and it has a good message for the audiences.' 

Arjuna Raju maintained that a new kind of camera Ramping has been used for this film for the first time. Raju thanked everyone including the hero Nagarjuna and director K S Ravi Kumar for contributing their mite to the completion of the film in a record 55 days.

60 % of Major Surya Complete

Suman’s 'Major Surya' has completed 60 cent of the shooting with the recent filming of two stunt sequences. The latest schedule has just started at Peddamma Temple in Jubilee Hills. 

One stunt sequence has been shot on Suman and other fighters under the able guidance of fight master Nandu. 


The present schedule will continue till the end of the month and some more of the talkie part and songs will be picturised, according to one of the presenters of the film Satish Reddy.

The five songs have been recorded recently to the tunes of music director Suresh Nandan. There is a patriotic song which goes like this: 'Desam kosam pore veeruduraa Major Suryudu raa.' Satish Reddy expressed hope that like the 'Punyabhoomi naa desam namo namaami' song in Major Chandrakanth, people will patronize the title song in Major Surya with equal fervour. 

The Kargil war scenes and the Bangla Rifles atrocities are being shown in this film for the first time. The audio cassettes of the film will be distributed to all the army majors in the state free of cost.

Sai Kiran's new film srimalle Puvva

Nadimindi Satyanarayana who is presently producing 'Hitech Students' is planning to start their second film, a love story, with Sai Kiran. It has been named as 'Sirimalle Puvvaa'.

It is natural for young guys to long for a beautiful girl. But they don’t realize that it is more important to gain a person’s goodwill with love than with money. The film is about how an ordinary guy encounters a beautiful girl and falls in love with her and how he struggles to gain the love of his life.

The film also delves into the psyche of a 16-year old girl and the kind of attitude and thinking she harbours. The title role will be donned by a leading heroine, said the producer Satyanarana. And a new director will be introduced. 

The film will start immediately after the release of Satyanarayana’s present film Hitech Students in June. 

Jungle Ki Sherni Adavi Rani in telugu

Jungle ki Sherni which has done exceptionally well in Hindi is being dubbed into Telugu as Adavi Rani. The dubbing related work is presently on Rajalakshmi theatre in Chennai. 

The story is about a girl called Swapna whose life takes an unforeseen turn and her rosy future comes to nought. 'The film is shot in some wonderful locations in the forests and will draw the young audiences to the theatres,' said the incharge of Balaji Productions who have bought the dubbing rights. 

The film which has an equal dose of sentiment, suspense and sensuousness has the sizzling heroine Swapna enthralling the audiences with her sensuous figure and her acting talent, said the producer. 

As to why Swapna becomes a jungle rani is explained by the producer. 'Some undesirable elements defame her sister who resorts to the extreme act of killing herself. This moves Swapna who decides to wreak vengeance on her sister’s detractors.'
