Vandemataram by February end

Vijayashanti is going to light up the screen again with her fireworks. Vandemataram, in which she is starring, is scheduled for release in the third week of February. 

The film is being made in the four South Indian languages - Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The Kannada version has been released and got a rousing reception, said the director Jayasri Devi. The remaining language versions will be released at the same time. 
The highlight of the film is the chase sequence that takes place at a height of 850 feet. 

At the same time, the producer believes that music director Deva’s music would contribute to the success of the film. 

Writer G K Bhargavi said that Vijayashanti dons the role of a super heroine who puts an end to the terrorist tactics of luring innocent children. There are six more women who help Vijayashanti in her efforts. “Vijayashanti has done a wonderful job,” he added.

First schedule of Srivari Korika comes to an end

Srivari Korika, starring Vikas, Manichandana, and directed by S Sudhakar Reddy has completed its first schedule, according to the producer Vemula Sambasiva Rao. 

In the first schedule which covered 40 per cent of the talkie part, the film was shot in the Samstha office, Kukatpalli, Balanagar, Bowenpalli and other areas in the city. In the next schedule commencing from January 18, the film will be completed. Sambasiva Rao said that including the songs the talkie part would be complete in this remaining schedule. 

The film primarily focuses on the relationship between husband and wife and how life can take on an even course without any hurdles.

Sparsa songs screened for presspersons

On the eve of the release of Sparsa, the makers of the film screened the songs for media persons. The songs, have some soul-stirring music. Of these the one that will still linger in your minds is ‘Manasula Sarigama Prema’. It says that love is a musical melody that you would want to go back again and again. 

This beautiful number is followed by some more musical numbers like ‘Kaliki Chiluka Kalaga Merisinadi’, ‘Andanike Andam Neeve Sundari’ ‘Maredupalli Kaada Rangeli Kore’, ‘Manasuna Pondina Kavita Telisindile’ and ‘Oho, ho, kalle kalise’. All the six songs are wonderfully picturised in breathtaking locales Coonoor, Ooty, Sikkim, Darjeeling, Chikmangalur and Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. 

The film, which is a dubbed version of a Kannada film by the same name, has newcomers Sudeep, Rekha and Sudha Rani in the lead cast.

Jackpot begins in Hyderabad

Kasinath who is famous for his films, Aparachitulu, Vinta Sobhanam and Anubhavam, has commenced his new film Jackpot at Hyderabad on January 27. 

Like Chitram Bhalare Vichitram, it will be a totally fun-filled film, according to the producer P N Ramachandra Rao. A new heroine will be paired opposite Kasinath, he added.

6 Teens complete

Produced by Jakkula Srinivasa Reddy and directed by G Nageswara Reddy, Six Teens has completed shooting and ready for release on Valentine’s Day, that is, February 14. 

The film which revolves round the youth and their antics has a message: Don’t waste your time. All the six teens are newcomers and this is supposed to be the attraction of the film. They really look like teenagers and with a dearth of teenage actors that the youth will identify with them- selves the film will go down well with the youth, the producer stated.

Jyotirmayi to go on the floors from February 1

Jyotirmaryi which has the action stars Sai Kumar and Thriller Manju will go on the floors from February 1. 

In the first schedule which will last for 20 days some vital scenes and action sequences will be shot. Producer SVV Prasada Rao said that the film has an impressive cast which includes Raghuvaran, Maheswari, Manorama, Jayaprakash Reddy, Satya Prakash besides the lead cast of Thriller Manju and Sai Kumar. 

He said that when he was planning to make a good movie, fight master Vikki narrated a story to him which he liked instantly. Sai Kumar and Thriller Manju don powerful roles, he added. 

Talking of the film, director Vikki said that after Police Story, Jyotirmayi will be another gem in the crowning glory of Sai Kumar. The script has been worked out well in advance, he added. 

Hero Sai Kumar said that this film would be a milestone in his career. The film is scheduled to be over by April.

Maa Aavida Meeda Ottu…. songs screened for presspersons

The songs of EVV Satyanarayana’s film have been previewed for media persons at the Film Chamber of Commerce in the city. The film is scheduled for release on February 2. The duet ‘Mundennadu eraganidi toli toli alajadide’ written by Chandra Bose was picturised on Naveen and Raasi. 

The second song, again a duet, ‘Ramachilukamma kommallo daagipokamma’ written by Seetarama Sastry was shot on Srikant and Raasi. 

The third song ‘Vedamantram kalipindi ee bandham’ has a large cast participating in it which include Srikant, Naveen, Raasi, Laya, Mukku Raju, etc.. These and the other songs were rendered to good tunes by Srinivasa murthy.

Murari to hit the screens on February 9

The Mahesh Babu-starrer Murari, directed by the technical wizard Krishna Vamsi, is releasing on February 9. 

The rerecording work is going on at Mahati and once it is over the film will be released on February 9, said the producer N Ramalingeswara Rao. Rao claimed that he would get a good response for the audio. 

The film, a family entertainer, has the Bollywood heroine Sonali Bendre providing the glamour element.
