Talkie part of Little gang over
 |
Little Gang starring Krishna and Ravali with a host of child artistes, has finished the talkie part and a song. The remaining five songs will be picturised from January 5, said the director G V Anji Reddy.
The five songs are as follows: A duet on Krishna and Ravali and the remaining four songs are situation songs shot on the kids. The film depicts the life of the child labourers in its stark reality. |
Krishna is playing the role of a retired major, the director said thanking Krishna for his whole-hearted cooperation.
Financier Chitti Nageswara Rao who turned producer on being impressed with the subject said that the film intends to provide a solution to the evil of child labour. The film is slated for release in March.

Bhargava Arts teams up with Balakrishna
Bhargava Arts Productions has notched up an impress array hit films with Balakrishna under the astute direction of Kodi Ramakrishna. After a long hiatus the team has come together again to make a new film. The film will commence shooting on January 31.
'To make the film unique we have chosen a subject which has shades of mythology,' said S Gopal Reddy, the producer at a press conference. 'But this film will not be like the mythologicals of yore, but trendy enough to make an impact on the youth.'
The film will be shot in regal abodes of the various princely palaces in Rajasthan. Sets are also being erected at Araku and in Vizag while the action scenes will be picturised in Kulu Manali.
Gopal Reddy said that music director Ilayaraja has said that he would compose music only on the condition that the recording of the songs will be done in Chennai, while the rerecording work will be done in Hungary. Presently music sittings are being held at Film City.
The film also boasts of graphic works which is being handled by Pentafour Graphics, the largest Graphics unit in the world.
Pooja Batra and Lisa Ray are being paired opposite Balakrishna, while Bhanumati is playing Balakrishna’s nanny.

Godse from February 1
The makers of Eetaram Nehru, which bombed without a trace, have announced their third film Godse. The shooting will commence from February 1.
Addressing a press conference director Sivanagu said that Godse is a violent love story concerning a college student. There is no resemblance between the assassin of Gandhi and this Godse for the film is about the circumstances that change a guy from a Gandhi to a Godse.
Most of the shooting will take place in Ramoji Film City, while parts of it will be shot in Guntur. An action thriller, there are five exceptional martial arts stunts in this film.

50% of ‘Wife’ complete

Sivaji, Preeti, Siri, Mallikarjuna Rao, Abhiman, Vijay Verma, Sekhar Patnaik, Chitram Srinu, Devi Sri, Satya and others will participate in the latest schedule, according to the director Ravipalli Ram Babu.
Fifty per cent of the film will be in the college backdrop, while the remaining 50 per cent deals with the reality of being plunged into life. It is a reflection of the happenings in the society. The film is about a guy who wants to go to America with the support of his wife.
The director surmised that Sivaji and Preeti would become famous with this film.
In the next schedule which will commence on February 1 the film would be complete. The five songs in this film will be shot in Araku and Vizag and with that the shooting will come to an end.

Nuvve Kavali in Hindi and Kannada
Any film is conceived properly and presented well will definitely do well. Nuvve Kavali is a classic example. The film that was a stupendous hit of 2000 made instant stars of actors Tarun and Richa and the director Vijayabhasker.
With the film succeeding beyond imagination, the makers, Usha Kiron Movies, are remaking it in Hindi and Kannada. While Vijayabhasker will direct the Hindi version, while the search is on for the Kannada version.
Geeta krishna announces two new films
The director of films like Sankirtana, Kokila, Keechurally, Sarvar Sundaramgari Abbayi and Time, Geetakrishna has announced the launch of two films.

Addressing a press conference, he said that a promotional organization has been opened with the support of Chaitanya Talkies. Fifty percent of the films would be financed by Chaitanya Talkies while the rest would be mobilised from other lending sources. |
To start of with two films Avunu Preminchanu and Katha have been planned, he said. The former is a love theme, while the latter is a low-budget film based on a story published in the Illustrated Weekly of India.
He said that taking inspiration from RB Choudary of Supergood Films he would give an opportunity to new and talented directors. The shooting schedule will be announced in February.
Bhagavad Gita Darsanam’s fresh schedule
Bhagad Girta Darsanam based on the incidents revolving round Krishna and Arjuna has commenced its second schedule on January 18 in Hyderabad.
In the first schedule which came to a close recently,
short tales relating to Valmiki and Viswamitra and
Arjuna’s sorrowful days have been picturised. |

In the second schedule, tales relating to Vivekananda, Bhakta Meera, Goda Devi and Bhakta Kubela will be picturised. Murali Mohan is donning the role of Vivekananda, Sunayana is playing Godadevi, Sana is Meera and Maharshi is Kuchela.
The producer Pratap Reddy said that the director has made Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavam for which he has got the idol of Lord Venkateswara me by the famous sculptor Velu Swamy. For the present film,
the image Lord Krishna’s viswaroop is being made by Velu Swamy’s sons. Sequences relating to this will be shot next month, he added.

Hello in Telugu
Hello, starring Prasanth and Preeti Jhangiani, which has done exceptionally well in Tamil is being dubbed into Telugu by Malli Multimedia, according to producer M Mallikarjuna Rao.
Dubbing work has started on January 5 and will be over by the month-end. The film will be released in February. Rao claimed that the films set to the tune by Deva have come out very well.
He stated that he is planning a new film with director Mutyala Ramdas which will be announced on January 31. Regular shooting will commence from February onwards.
