Kalalukandam.. Raa Song Being Shot     

The shooting of Kalalukandaam.. Raa is progressing at a brisk pace and the unit is presently picturising a song in Vizag. Presented by Royal Films a famous distributor in Telangana, M A Qureshi the film is about a boy who is always dreaming and how he would react when the dreams become a reality. 

The song ‘Siri siri muvvala naadamaa naa madilo medile bhavamaa’ is being shot on Prem Kumar and Nisha since four days in Vizag and Araku Valley. After the unit comes back to Hyderabad shooting will take place in and around Hyderabad and Ramoji Film City. 

M A Qureshi said that a major part of the shooting was completed in the recent schedule that went on from January 1 to 15. That also includes two songs. The songs run like this: ‘Madilo nee roopam merisindi naa kosam’ which was shot on Prem Kumar and Deepti while the second one ‘FM Channello emundiraa Rojaala Monalisa mundundi raa’ was choreographed by Agnesh. 

Qureshi maintained that Kalalukanddam.. Raa is a thorough fun-filled film. Although it appears to be a regular youth film, the narration and the taking are totally different.

6 Teens Complete sans a song

The story of six teenagers who are out on a ball, Six Teens, has completed its shooting except for a lone song. Recently a song 'Stylante style naadi jeans pant Paaru' was picturised on L B Sriram, Rakhee and other dancers at Harsha NRI Estates, 30 kilometres from Hyderabad. The song written by Chandra Bose was choreographed by Paul. 

Talking of the film, director G Nageswara Reddy said, L B Sriram plays a very important role in the film. He dons six getups which include a cowboy and Balakrishna’s role of Samarasimha Reddy. Earlier the song was sought to be shot on the guys, but we later opted for Sriram, he added. Reddy thanked Sriram for alloting dates for the song despite his busy schedule. The remaining song will be picturised in the first week of February. 

L B Sriram said that he plays the role of an auto driver in the film. Although it was supposed to have only a couple of scenes, later it was expanded to eight scenes and a song. Every scene resembles a song in this film, he maintained. 'Although I was a little scared when the director told me that the song has josh steps, but with the director’s help I was able to do it,' he said giving the credit to the director. 

Producer Srinivasa Reddy said that LB Sriram will get the image of a big hero once this film is released. The film’s audio is expected to be out in the first week of February while the scheduled date for the release of the film is February 16.

Kasinath Hits ‘Jackpot’ in Ramoji Film City

Ace Kannada director, Kasinath, who is famous for his dubbing films Aparachitulu and Vinta Sobhanam is for the first time directing a direct Telugu film. The film which has Kasinath himself donning the lead role went into production in Ramoji Film City last week. 
  Producers of successful films PS Ramachandra Rao and G Umapati who have a number of films to their credit are presenting this film. Talking on the occasion Ramachandra Rao said, 'Kasinath is a genius technician. More than that he is a good friend. 

I have seen his films and have been wanting to work with him since a long time. He is the first to start the trend of low budget films.'

Actor-director Kasinath said, 'My films are generally based on real life incidents and this film is no exception. It is about a girl who is undergoing psychiatric treatment and a lazy boy who yearns to become rich the easy way out. All the characters in my film are generally what you see in real life.'

The film will be completed in a single schedule.

‘Little Hearts' go for shooting

Little Hearts, a children’s film made under the Sri Venkateswara University banner and directed by Srikant has commenced shooting at Srinivasamangapuram near Tirupati on January 29. 

The muhurat which was shot on children had clap done by Ravuri Srinivas, while Ravuri Balaji set the camera in motion. Politicians and filmmakers attended the inauguration of the film and conveyed their best wishes. The film has been woven round the glorious deeds done by children and has a message in it for the audience. 

The film will be completed in a single schedule for which seven songs have been successfully recorded. A new heroine Priyamvada will be introduced in this film. Audio will be released in February while the film will be released in April, said Srinivas Balaji.

Appa Rao Oka Nela Tappadu Songs Shooting

Relangi Narasimha Rao and Rajendra Prasad are an inseparable pair. They have made more than three dozen films and this time they are teaming up for a rip-roaring comedy Appa Rao Oka Nela Taoppadu. Presented by Chaplin Comedy Creations, the recording of the songs commenced at Sabhdalaya on January 29. 

The lyric ‘Instalmentoi instalment, easy paddati instalment, intiki manchidi instalment, vachchi konandi first, dabbu kattandi next’ written by Chandra Bose was sung by Vandemataram Srinivas to his own music. 

Later talking to the press, producer Mallikarjuna Prasad said, 'All the films of Rajendra Prasad-Relangi Narasimha Rao combination have gone on to become hits. I am very happy to make films with them again. It is like a laughter machine on the move.'

The film will be completed in a single schedule that commences on February 3 and ends on March 9.

‘Sampangi’ enters the dubbing theater

The Deepak-Kanchi Kaul film Sampangi has finished shooting and dubbing is going on in Prasad Labs. Talking to the press director Sana Yadi Reddy said, 'I haven’t worked so hard for the films I have directed on my home banner. As I am working for an outside producer for the first time, I have been extra careful while making this film. Contrary to my earlier films, there will be a lot of commercial elements. It will appeal to all categories of audiences.'

Producer Kalyani Venkatesh said that though the film has overshot the budget we didn’t want to compromise on quality and so we did not hesitate to spend more money. We have shot for 45 days in all the beautiful locales of Ramoji Film City that would suit our subject.'

She also maintained that since music is the lifeline of love stories we have invested a lot of money to produce some quality numbers. The film is slated for release in the second week of February.
