Built on a lavish campus, under the joint management of APTTDC and Amogh Hotels, Yatri Nivas houses three restaurants, a Banquet Hall and a pub apart from the Guest House itself. Though
Tamarind Tree, their vegetarian restaurant is divided into two sections of A/C and Non-A/C (Outdoors), many of the guests prefer to sit outside under the cool shade of ( you guessed it!) tamarind trees. The tastefully done seating arrangement and the ample greenery around lend a pleasing and soothing ambience.
For the early risers, Tamarind Tree provides a breakfast section from 6:30 in the morning onwards.
Aangan, the multi-cuisine, air-conditioned restaurant is for those who prefer a cosy setting to a spacious one. This well-designed eating place comes with an attached bar. Owing to the crowd at almost all mealtimes, the service is a little slow though the food is excellent.
Hunter's Dhaba, is a small alcove, hidden behind Aangan and is a favourite hideaway for couples. Both Aangan and Hunter's Dhaba offer Indian, Italian, Continental and our very own Hyderabadi cuisines and are open from 11:00 am onwards. Their busiest time seems to be dinner though, when you see bearers hustling from one place to another, often breaking into a sprint. "We have separate staff for all our Restaurants to enable efficient service", explained Mr. B.S Nagesh, Manager, Yatri Nivas.
On the Rocks, one of the top ten pubs in Hyderabad is located within the Yatri Nivas and is a popular hangout place for the young. Open from 12 am to 11 pm, On the Rocks is almost always busy.
The Guest House itself consists of 32 tastefully done-up rooms and neat restrooms. The tariff for the Double Occupancy, Air-conditioned rooms are Rs.600/- and Rs.550/- for the Single Occupancy. The Non-A/C rooms are Rs.500/- and Rs.400/- for Double and Single Occupancy respectively. Guest charges are Rs. 100/- extra. Apart from this, Yatri Nivas also rents out a Banquet Hall above the Tamarind Tree Restaurant for parties and get-togethers.

pan shop complete eating out experience.
